Hello Friends!

Hi, I’m Melissa Kuczepa — Level 2 Mortgage Agent and Accredited Mortgage Professional of Canada — and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

Before I became a Mortgage Agent, I was an Ambulance Dispatcher — a role that taught me how to stay calm in high-pressure situations and lead with empathy. Now, I bring that same level of care and clarity to every mortgage file I touch. I used to help people through emergencies. Today, I help them through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

As a Mortgage Agent with Mortgage Architects, I have access to over 57 lenders — including A, alternative, and private options — allowing me to match clients with the best mortgage solution for their needs. Whether you’re buying your first home, refinancing, or exploring ways to improve your cash flow, I’m here to advocate for you every step of the way.

Unlike a bank, I don’t work for one lender — I work for you. My job is to be your expert guide and trusted partner as you make decisions about your biggest financial asset.

My Story

I’m Melissa Kuczepa — Level 2 Mortgage Agent and Accredited Mortgage Professional of Canada — and my path to this career has been anything but typical.

With a diploma in Executive Office Administration (graduated with honours and a 5.0 GPA), and a college certificate in 911 Emergency Communications, I’ve always had a heart for helping others and a drive to do things well. I take pride in my work and believe that every client deserves my full attention, care, and dedication — because this isn’t just about mortgages, it’s about homes, families, and futures.

Before stepping into the mortgage world, I spent seven years in the telecommunications industry, where I was known for solving problems through a client-first approach. I received multiple Customer Service Excellence Awards and two Business Impact Awards for reducing costs while improving customer satisfaction.

After that, I worked as an Ambulance Communications Officer (ACO) for nearly four years, serving the Durham Region. In this role, I had the honour of helping save lives by administering CPR instructions and coordinating emergency responses in critical situations. I was proud to receive several commendations, including awards for my role in the response to the Port Perry Hospital fire and a critical New Year’s Eve incident.

These experiences shaped who I am — not just professionally, but personally.

For a time, I focused my efforts on raising awareness around two critical issues:

  1. The lack of accessible Public Access Defibrillators (AEDs) in our communities.

  2. The need to recognize and appreciate the life-saving work of 911 Communicators — the often-unsung heroes behind every emergency call.

While these causes will always matter to me, my passion has grown into something new — empowering the next generation to give back.

Today, I’m proud to be the founder of 100 Kids Who Care, first launching in Durham Region and now in Quinte West. This initiative teaches kids that they have the power to make a difference. It brings young people together to learn about local charities, vote on causes that matter to them, and pool their donations to create real impact — all while learning the value of community, kindness, and compassion.

Whether I’m supporting families through complex mortgage decisions or helping kids see their power to change the world, I do it with purpose, heart, and a desire to make a difference.

If you choose to work with me, you’ll find someone who genuinely cares, who works hard to create positive client experiences, and who’s proud to be your Mortgage Agent for life. This isn’t just a job for me — it’s a calling. And as many of my clients will tell you, I take that seriously.

Thanks so much for being here. I look forward to getting to know you.

Talk soon,
