I’m Melissa Kuczepa and I’m so happy you’re here! Choosing a Mortgage Agent to assist you with your mortgage needs is an excellent choice.

As a previous Ambulance Dispatcher, turned Mortgage Agent, I make a positive impact on my clients' lives by helping them navigate complex mortgage transactions with compassion and understanding. I used to save people's lives. Now, I save them money.

As a Mortgage Agent licensed with Mortgage Architects, I work with over 57 lenders on your behalf to secure you the best possible mortgage product, rate, and terms for your unique situation. I can also identify areas to save you money or increase your cash flow to improve your financial situation. I work for YOU, not the lender, so when it comes to your largest financial asset, I will be the expert in your corner!

My Story

I have a lengthy and varied employment history that has brought me to this wonderfully fulfilling career. I have a college certificate in 911 Emergency Communications, and a diploma in Office Administration – Executive graduating with honors and a 5.0 GPA. I take pride in my work and strive for excellence in everything that I do.

I was employed in the telecommunications industry for 7 years where I honed my ability to solve problems with a customer-first approach, ensuring solutions that kept the customer relationship at the forefront. In this position I earned numerous Customer Service Excellence awards, as well as two Business Impact Awards for reducing company expenses while improving customer satisfaction.

I also spent nearly four years as an Ambulance Communications Officer (ACO) serving the Durham Region. In this position, I earned numerous awards for saving lives by administering CPR instructions. Additionally, I was awarded two excellence awards for my role in facilitating the emergency response to the Port Perry Hospital fire and providing excellent service in a critical incident on New Year's Eve.

But I really want to tell you about my two biggest takeaways:

1. There are not nearly enough Public Access Defibrillators in our community and people go into cardiac arrest often. While in cardiac arrest with no access to a defibrillator, the patient’s likelihood of survival decreases by 10% every minute. Those are NOT good odds.

2. Some of the most important members of our community (911 Communicators) are often forgotten and rarely receive thanks or recognition for the amazing work they do.

These takeaways form the core of my fundraising and charitable efforts, and I encourage you to check out my Community Involvement page where I talk about my initiatives and why they are so important to me.

If you choose to work with me for your mortgage needs, you will find that I work extremely hard to provide positive client interactions in every single interaction we have. I provide a top-notch client experience as you will see from my numerous client testimonials. After all, this is your HOME, not a transaction. I look forward to being your Mortgage Agent of choice for life!

If you’ve made it this far, I’d like to say thank you for reading and I very much look forward to getting to know you and helping you with your mortgage needs!
